The life
     of wildflowers
Remember two lovers
     in the sun-shower
Lustful eyes
     of fire
Life filled
     w/burning desire
In dreamland
     w/all the answers
Then time
     came w/the cancer
Our reflection
     in the mirror
Love is a reality 
     killer
Consumed from head
     to toe
Fallow was the seed
     to sow
Our time here
     such a waste
The bitter scar
     we still taste
Safely used
     and thrust away
Deception that throbs
     every day
The need to place
     the blame
W/an outcome
     that is forever
     the same
